How does GBS affect adults, and what are the symptoms?
Group B Streptococcus (GBS) can affect adults. Those at greater risk are older adults, individuals with chronic illnesses (e.g., diabetes, liver disease), and adults with weakened immune systems.
The common symptoms are:
